A young math teacher is awarded teacher of the year
for the entire state and is invited by the governor
to witness the unveiling of a historic technology
that will teleport any non-living thing anywhere in
the world; through a series of events, the teacher
is zapped with the technology and transported across
the country, arriving in an unconscious state, the
company pays to have his body cryogenically frozen
until they can wake him up; 50 years later, a
robot janitor accidentally hits a button that wakes
him up, he's the same age as when he was frozen;
the school district feels obliged to give him his
job back, but technology has advanced so far that
students no longer need a math teacher, maybe
there's something else he can teach them?
