There is something to be said for first love, hopeful,
intense, and irrational; when Carolyn acts in anger, a
death takes place, and David, fully in love, helps her to
cover it up; when the police tighten the noose, it just
brings the couple closer together. On the run, David is
willing to throw away his entire life when it comes to
protecting Carolyn; at the end of the day, will his
gestures of love be returned, or is first love fleeting,
and does Carolyn abandon him to take the blame?
