A woman heads down to her basement with some food and water. There's a guy sitting in the dark, chained to a post. "I met another one, it's time to do your magic!" "This is number five. Five more, and you're going to let me go?" Samantha is a love addict, and she has met someone who can make others fall in love with her. The first time he gave her advice, it worked so well that her dopamine amount went through the roof. As the feeling of love started to fade, depression began to set in. She panicked and kidnapped her cupid. Now, the man she abducted was not a cupid; he was Doctor Martin Grant, a phycologist who saw Samantha as a patient once, and then he was abducted a couple of weeks later. She decided that if he could get her to fall in love ten times, she'd let him go. Four men in five months who, falling prey to Doctor Grant's phycological tricks, fell in love with Samantha. Dopamine released, and Samantha's addiction monster has been appeased. The doctor's advice was not magic, more common sense, like giving compliments, smiling, casually touching, asking for a favor, telling them a secret, making them laugh, and exercising reciprocity by acting like you like them. Unfortunately, for Doctor Cupid, dopamine contributes to tolerance, which will require more and deeper love for Samantha to experience the same high she did for the first time. His job just got a lot harder.
