Danny got the opportunity of a lifetime; after three years of internship, part-time work, and living in 15 by 15 room with a toilet and a shower behind a curtain, he had the opportunity to interview with the Altamont Company, which had been his dream since he was ten years old. The interview is seven days from now, and Danny is determined to study it all ten times; he's not going to miss this chance. As the week goes by, insane things keep happening to him, an older man is having trouble breathing in a coffee shop, and no one's helping him; Danny steps in. He becomes locked in an elevator with three other people, a woman starts to panic, and no one knows what to do; Danny has to take charge of the situation to get the group out. A neighbor comes across the hall in a panic, saying he's been hacked, and that the hackers are threatening to kidnap his children. The neighbor who can't have any suspicion of negligence can't call the police, or he'll lose his children anyway. He knows Danny is good at computers; Danny reluctantly checks it out and finds he's being scammed after two hours of work. A spy from Altamont's rival contacts him and says he'll pay a million dollars if he wears a hidden camera to his interview. On his way to the interview, knowing that he barely had enough time to look at stuff once, never mind the ten times he wanted, continually runs into issues keeping him from getting there on time, a bad car crash, a closed road, a police crime scene, but through determination he finally arrives on time. He eventually arrives in the waiting room, and 50 people are waiting; while sitting in the crowded, hot, and with no cell or wifi signal, he sees an innovative way to get his interview first, but a woman starts crying and sitting next to him. He begins to recognize faces from the week in the waiting room; he's been interviewing for the whole week. He begins to doubt himself, should he take the chance, get his interview before everyone else, or fix a room slowly devolving into chaos.
