A few families on Earth have superhuman abilities; Abby Anderson is a member of one family. Like her father, brothers, and cousins, she can fly, is super strong, bulletproof, and can melt objects by staring at them. Superpowers differ throughout her family; some are very powerful, like her father, a world-famous superhero; he stopped World War III when he was only 30. Abby has a considerable amount of power; she's one of the most dominant in her family. She's 29, and she's going to turn 30 next month, but she has a deep feeling that she's not living up to her family name. The more headline-grabbing her relatives receive, the more Abby feels inadequate. Generally, as anyone can remember, the Anderson's were heroes, used their powers for good, and were universally admired by all. Abby's family will not let her off the hook either, asking why she has no purpose, calling her a disappointment, and making her into the family's joke. Anger began to build in Abby to the point that she secretly sabotaged her brother's attempt to stop a bank robbery. The criminals got away with millions, and Abby never felt better.  She began to realize that this could be her legacy, that she wasn't going to live up to her family's standards, that she was a bad guy, that she was a black spot in a sea of white. And she was damn good at it.
