When people grow older, they wonder why they haven't found love; am I too picky? Am I not lovable? So, they force it, and forced love will last just a short time, but can have serious consequences. Oliver is in that situation, lonely, he falls for the affections of a newly divorced woman with two children. To persuade her that he's genuine, he plays the role of a bedtime story reader, little person chauffeur, a weekend coach, and a weekday tutor. Although all the outward signs of love are present, the feeling of "in love" is not there. There is no real cost; the time he spends is respected and reciprocated.  Until the day he encounters someone who invokes an "in love" response deep inside his consciousness. Can he just leave? He has to, right? He can't abandon his own life and feelings for an artificial world he's built to pass the time? The truth isn't easy, it may set you free, but it doesn't have to make you feel good.
